Terms and conditions
Conditions applying to rides operated by SARL TAXI STRASBOURG.
This is a translation provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern taxi passenger transport services provided by SARL TAXI STRASBOURG (the “provider”) to its customers.
2. Services
- Transport by sedan or Tesla (up to 4 passengers), people carrier (up to 6) and van (up to 8).
- Transfers to and from airports and stations.
- Long-distance rides in France and to Germany.
3. Fares
The fare is calculated with the regulated Bas-Rhin taxi rate in force on the day of the ride (pick-up charge, day or night price per kilometre, waiting time and extras). Prices are in euros, VAT included.
The minimum fare is €8, in line with the Bas-Rhin regulated rate.
The price shown by the online booking form is an estimate based on the distance, time and vehicle chosen; it may vary with the route actually driven.
4. Booking
Bookings can be made online, by phone, via WhatsApp or by email. Online booking is available for departures at least 24 hours ahead; for a sooner departure, please book by phone.
A confirmation is sent by email. The customer provides the addresses, date and time, number of passengers and luggage and, where relevant, the flight or train number and any special needs (child seat, bulky luggage).
5. Cancellation and changes by the customer
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up.
- Cancellation between 24 and 6 hours before: 50% of the estimated fare is due.
- Cancellation within 6 hours, or no-show: 100% of the estimated fare is due.
- Free changes up to 12 hours before pick-up.
6. Provider unable to perform
If the provider cannot perform a booked ride, it informs the customer as soon as possible and offers an alternative; otherwise, nothing is owed by the customer.
7. Payment
Payment is made at the end of the ride by card on board, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash. Companies holding an account are invoiced monthly under the terms agreed with them.
8. Customer obligations
- Be at the agreed address at the agreed time.
- Do not smoke and wear a seat belt.
- Mention bulky luggage and the need for a child seat when booking.
9. Liability
The provider holds the compulsory insurance for passenger transport. Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings, subject to applicable law.
10. Complaints
Complaints should be sent as soon as possible after the ride, by email to contact@strasbourg-taxi.fr, by phone on +33 3 88 122 122 or by post to the registered office.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
